The University of Nigeria Medical Students Association has an annual health week organized by the Public Health Programmes Committee (PHPC-UNMSA). This is aimed at providing an avenue for medical students at all levels of training to give back to the community as well as learn more through practice of whatever skills they have been taught.
This year’s health week is tagged “DEPRESSION AND ITS ASSOCIATION WITH SUICIDE: A PUBLIC APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS AND ITS KEY ROLE TO CURB SUICIDE”.
Ozoemena Tenpenny Osinachi, the UNMSA PHPC Chairman in line with the UNMSA Constitution has successfully conducted the 2019 UNMSA PHPC Week Ceremony.
The week started on the 2nd of December and Span to the 8th of December 2019. It was so powerful; from the Opening ceremony to the UNMSA Quiz, the Financial summit and of course the Best Fun fair ever.
It was entertaining, educating and very much enterprising. To see some of the pictures from the week, click here
