Medikka 2019 is dedicated to the burden of cancer in Nigeria and in line with this, the editorial board calls for articles for publication bothering on cancer screening, prevention, management and other emerging issues in oncology. MISS NiMSA 2019 CROWN COMES HOME IN GRAND STYLE
The following categories of manuscripts will be accepted for publication Research articles: Original research concerning any aspect (e.g aetio-pathogenesis, diagnosis, management and prevention) of disease. Animal research contributions of relevance to human health are also welcome. Abstract required.
Maximum of 4,000 words. Reviews including meta-analyses: Detailed systematic and critical evaluation of the literature on a specified clinical problem.
Reviews should include information such as type of studies and the selection process. Maximum of 3,000 words.
Case Reports: These may be unique case reports, clinical experiences and short reports of original research. Maximum of 1,500 words. All Articles received are subject to peer-review by the Medikka Editorial Consultants Board and/or invited assessors.
Manuscripts must be in accordance with the Uniform Requirements for manuscripts submitted to Biomedical Journals published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICJME).
Referencing must be done using Vancouver Style(1998). Papers should be typewritten(original copy with double spacing throughout, except for quotations.
